FAQs about my training

I am a qualified nurse, RGN, with over 30 years experience in the medical world. Also, I have been working in the field of Complementary Medicine for 20 years now, having completed 2 years in-depth training as a natural practitioner at the respected Raworth College of Natural Medicine in Dorking.

Since my training, I have regularly kept myself updated with Seminars, Postgraduate training, and Workshops.

Registrations

I am Registered as a Qualified Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council , and follow their code of standards of conduct, performance and ethics.

I am a full Member of the Association of Reflexologists - MAR - and have been for 16 years.I attend update seminars run by the A.O.R., and am Registerd with the CNHC.

I hold National Certification with the Examining Board ITEC, in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Swedish Massage and Nutrition.

I have specialized in Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Nutrition for the past 20 years, including stress relief and work in the areas of Reading and Maidenhead, Berkshire, and High Wycombe, Bourne End, Cookham and Marlow, Buckinghamshire as well as in my Maidenhead Clinic.

I have found that using a combination of relaxation and nutritional and stress and anxiety relief support is very helpful when treating ladies trying to conceive. Obviously, medical support is often needed too. In IVF treatment, reflexology has apparently been shown to be of great help, when used as well.
